I was looking for a way to lose my last post pregnancy pounds, but I did not want to give up chocolate cake.
I was fine with giving up sugar but I wasn't sure what to make of all the sugar replacements. So being a journalist I decided to do my research.

Honey and dried fruit seemed healthy but were too sweet and high carb. Agave syrup seemed like a great low glycemic solution. But then I read the research on how the liver has a hard time processing too much fructose.
