If you simply must have a desert, try a piece of angel food cake. Sometimes it is very hard to give into cravings. Some cakes, like angel food, are quite airy. The air inside of them translates to a lower calorie cake than normal baking produces.
Try eating low fat fruits. Be careful to stick with low calorie fruits like apples, apricots, and peaches. Avoid eating too many mangoes and grapes which are high in calories.
